Tasting Room Associate

Part-Time

Do you love creating memorable experiences and connecting with people? Solhavn Winery is looking for friendly, enthusiastic individuals to join our Tasting Room team. If you enjoy hospitality, have a passion for wine (or are excited to learn), and thrive in a welcoming environment, we'd love to meet you!

As a Tasting Room Associate, you'll be one of the first faces our guests see. You'll create a warm and inviting atmosphere while guiding visitors through wine tastings, sharing the story of our winery, and helping guests discover wines they'll love. Every interaction is an opportunity to provide exceptional hospitality and leave a lasting impression.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and provide an outstanding tasting room experience.

  • Guide guests through wine tastings while confidently describing our wines, vineyard, and winery story.

  • Educate guests about our wines, winemaking process, and Wine Club membership.

  • Recommend wines

  • Process wine sales and Wine Club memberships using our POS system.

  • Serve wine responsibly while following all state and local alcohol service regulations.

  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, daily cleaning, and maintaining the tasting room.

  • Restock wine, glassware, and other supplies throughout each shift.

  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure every guest receives exceptional service.

  • Assist with winery events, private gatherings, and seasonal activities as needed.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

  • A positive, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

  • A willingness to learn about wine and confidently share that knowledge with guests.

  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences.

  • Basic computer skills and comfort learning POS systems.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

  • Must be at least 18 years old and able to meet all Minnesota alcohol service requirements.

Busser

Part-Time

Looking for a fun first job or a flexible part-time position? Solhavn Winery is looking for dependable, hardworking, and friendly individuals to join our team as Bussers. This role is essential to creating an exceptional guest experience by keeping our tasting room clean, organized, and ready to welcome every visitor.

As a Busser, you'll work alongside our Tasting Room Associates to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable visit. If you enjoy staying busy, working with a team, and taking pride in creating a welcoming environment, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • Clear and clean tables promptly between guests.

  • Wash, polish, and restock wine glasses and other service items.

  • Keep the tasting room, patios, and common areas clean and inviting.

  • Refill water stations, napkins, and other guest supplies.

  • Assist with opening and closing cleaning duties, as needed.

  • Help stock wine, retail items, and other supplies as needed.

  • Empty trash and recycling throughout the day.

  • Support the Tasting Room team during busy service periods.

  • Assist with setting up and cleaning up winery events and private gatherings.

  • Perform other duties assigned by management.
